Formentera è l’isola più piccola delle Baleari. Le sue bellezze naturali ed un attento piano regolatore la rendono una delle mete estive più ambite ed esclusive.
La Savina è l’unico porto dell’isola dove arrivano i traghetti da Ibiza e dove ormeggiano le barche private e lussuosi yacht. Sono presenti negozi, bar e ristoranti.
Es Pujols è il centro turistico di Formentera dove si concentrano hotel e hostal, negozi, ristoranti ed è anche il fulcro della vita notturna. Qui si trovano numerosi disco-bar e l’unica discoteca dell’isola.
San Francisco è il capoluogo di Formentera. Caratteristica la sua piazzetta con la suggestiva chiesa, che nei secoli scorsi aveva la funzione di fortezza per proteggere gli abitanti dalle incursioni dei pirati.
Nella via pedonale ogni mattina potete trovare numerose bancarelle con prodotti d’artigianato tipici dell’isola, negozi, bar e ristoranti.
Cap de Barbària è il punto più a sud dell’isola. Merita una visita per il paesaggio lunare che si incontra lungo la stretta strada che porta fino al faro a picco sul mare e per la grotta dove in passato si organizzavano feste hippy.
San Fernando è stato per anni il punto di ritrovo degli hippy e ancora oggi è meta del turismo alternativo. Anche qui trovate negozi e ristoranti.
Es Caló è un paesino di pescatori, lontano dalla confusione con un porticciolo naturale.
Es Mirador è un punto panoramico da cui potete ammirare l’intera isola dall’alto. Nelle giornate limpide godrete di una vista eccezionale che si estende fino all’isola di Ibiza.
Pilar de la Mola è una piccola località situata nella parte ovest dell’isola, famosa per il mercatino hippy che ha luogo ogni mercoledì e domenica.
Faro della Mola sorge nella parte più alta dell’isola con una scogliera di circa 200 metri a strapiombo sul mare ed un panorama mozzafiato.

Formentera Libre you simply decide on the day of arrival and departure and the duration of your stay (not necessarily saturday to saturday or sunday to sunday).
We offer you a free private shuttle service from the airport to the port of Ibiza, especially useful in high season, when the taxi rank forms endless queues.
Ferries
Ibiza and Formentera are connected by ferry with departure, in high season, every 30 minutes and the journey time varies between 25 and 35 minutes.
Companies that provide this service are three: Trasmapi, Balearia and Mediterranea Pitiusa and costs vary between 23,80€ and 26,80€ per trip.
• From Ibiza the first boat departs in the morning at 07.00 am and the last of the evening at 09.30 pm
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in hight season, the last departure from Ibiza to Formentera is at 11.00 pm
• From Formentera the first boat in the morning is at 07.00 am, and the last at 09.30 pm
• The ferries do not run at night, therefore one would have to stay overnight in Ibiza and reach Formentera the day after ones arrival.

Formentera Libre has an agreement with Mediterranea Pitiusa, the Formentera company, and we are able to offer tickets at a reduced rate.
We also have Trasmapi and Balearia tickets at reduced rates.
If you have booked the apartment or hotel with us, your tickets will be delivered to you upon your arrival at the airport and will be payable on the spot.

Timetables change regularly so we suggest to check these out the day prior to your arrival, bearing in mind that they may be subject to change due to bad sea conditions or other causes of force majeure.
