The historic and special relationship that Formentera has with music, continues with the inauguration of a new event destined to become a tradition: the Formentera Jazz Festival 2015.
A festival entirely dedicated to the musical genre symbol of freedom par excellence, which goes perfectly with the spirit of the island.
The event will be held from 5 to 7 June, 3 days of exhibitions, meetings and activities related to music.
The Festival will be started on Friday June 5, at 12 pm, at the municipal cinema in Formentera, with a debate presented by festival Director, Mr. Max Moya Wright.
Among the most interesting initiatives, a workshop for children and the final jam session, open to all invited artists and to local musicians.
The places of the Festival will be the Plaça de Sant Francesc, Sant Francesc cinema, and the Blue Bar (Platja Migjorn).
These are the artists scheduled in the prestigious program of the festival: Carlos Sarduy, Ganavya Doraiswamy, X Blues Connotation, Alexey Leon & Mel Seme, Nega Lucas, Dj Golfo de Guinea, Dj Fred Guzzo.
