One of the most charming villages of Formentera, mix of traditional lifetsyle and the alternative spirit that here is carried on since the 60 's and 70 's.
For its authentic, informal environment, never too compromised by tourism, when hippies chose Formentera as their reign in the Mediterranean, they also elected San Fernando as its capital.
The small town still maintains size and atmosphere of a typical traditional village.
In the warm tranquillity of the island, the environment is pleasantly sleepy in the daytime, but it becomes quite exciting in nightime, being still one of the best places for a stop, for a bite or a drink.
The village can be easily reached from Es Pujols, the main tourist centre, and from San Francisco (the capital), both just a couple of Km away.
The location allows who decides to stay in the area, to enjoy the charming inner part of the island, as well as its wonderfull sea, distant just a short ride by scooter.
