Illetes-Formenteralibre

Formentera offers more than 20km of white sand and clear water with amazing combinations of blue. On the island you can find everything from the typical lonely cove to dream beaches, but on all of them you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a natural environment preserved from overcrowding.

For the clarity of its waters and white beaches, Formentera is regarded as the last paradise of the Mediterranean.

Illetas and Levante
are the most popular and crowded beaches of the island and are part of the natural park. Located in the northern part of the island in the strip of land extending from Salinas to the island of Espalmador.
The colors of the sea and sand are often compared to the beaches of the Caribbean and even on windy days on one side or the other of the island the sea is always calm and flat.

Illetas is the most fashionable beach and you can find a variety of bars, restaurants and services while the Levante is more wild, quiet and also frequented by nudists.

Platja des Pujols is the tourist resort beach. Despite being surrounded by hotels and apartments, its waters are crystal clear. Wide range of restaurants, bars and services.

Mitjorn lies to the South of the island, facing Africa, where stretches of sand alternate with rocky areas. It is the longest Beach of Formentera and one of the less frequented, so one of the quietest. However, there are some small bars and restaurants.

Cala Saona is a natural cove on the southwest side of the island, facing Ibiza.
The contrast formed between the blue of the sea and its red rocks makes this unique beach and there are many sailing boats that come here to drop anchor.

Despite the naturalness of the places there is no shortage of restaurants and beach services.

Ses Platgetes are little bays in the vicinity of Es Caló, the opposite side of Mitjorn, on the thinnest part of the island. Very quiet, with pine trees and junipers growing almost on the beach.
